武维华，男，美国新泽西州立大学（Rutgers）博士。中国农业大学生物学院教授、博士生导师、院长，植物生理学与生物化学国家重点实验室主任，长江学者奖励计划特聘教授。
目前从事的主要研究领域：
植物细胞信号转导（第二信使）、植物细胞跨膜离子运输调控机制、作物耐低钾/磷/抗盐主效基因的鉴定克隆及功能、植物抗逆性的生理生化机制等方面研究。
主要学术成就：
发表论文30余篇，其中在《Proc.Natl.Acad.Sci》《Plant Physiology》《Plant & Cell Physiology》《Journal of Exp. Bot》《Planta》《Protoplasma》《中国科学》《科学通报》《植物学报》等国内外SCI收录的重要刊物上发表研究论文20余篇。
主持的科研课题：
先后主持国家自然科学基金重点项目/面上项目、国家攀登计划（专题）、国家重点基础研究规划项目（973项目）课题、科技部转基因作物产业化专项、国家“863”生物和现代农业技术领域重点项目、国家杰出青年科学基金、教育部优秀青年教师基金、教育部骨干教师研究基金、美国洛克菲勒基金会水稻生物技术项目、北京市自然科学基金等20余个科研项目。
主要奖励：
1997年入选国家人事部“百千万人才工程”；
1998年被授予农业部有突出贡献的中青年专家称号；
1999年3月被聘为国家教育部首批“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授；
2003年被授予全国五一劳动奖章和首都五一劳动奖章。
